I think it is when the earth goes exactly between the sun and the moon. Therefore the moon is completely blocked by the earth. I didn't know that there is one happening tomorrow.

Lunar eclipse occurs when the moon passes through the portion as the earths shadow. The moon is always full the night of the Lunar Eclipse. It might be a Lunar Eclpise tomorrow night but I'm not quite sure.
