Puppy mills are breeding facilities that produce purebred puppies in large numbers. They are normally sold to the public through the internet, newspaper ads, or from the mill itself. They are also sold to pet stores across the country. There are many problems with these mills. They are overbreeding, inbreeding, minimal veterinary care, poor quality of food and shelter, lack of human socialization, overcrowded cages and the killing of unwanted animals. I think that these are bad things and should be illegal.
Nope, I guess not. A puppy mill is a breeding facility that produces purebred puppies in large amounts. They are overbreeding and there is a lack of human care.
Yes, I do not that we have puppy mills. They can be a bad thing but not always are. Just like anything, they are only bad if the owners and employees mistreat the animals. If the people are good to the puppies then its fine. I know someome that I work with who owns a small puppy farm and works that in the mornings. He is just fine and all of his puppies are shipped and sold safely.

This is a place where pure breed puppies are breed. They are then sold. The amount of breeding they are doing with these puppies jsut isn't healthy to the animals.

There are so many problems with this because these puppies can be deformed because of inbreeding, and overbreeding. They don't have veternarians on staff so when puppies get sick it spreads quicker. i think it should be illegal to have puppy mills.

The puppy mills are big facilitys were the dogs are bred. The can be bad if the owner overbreeds and the cages are filled too much. They are also bad because the dogs can suffer and not get fed enough
Puppy mills are a group of people breeding purebred puppies in large numbers. They sell them to people. There might be some in South Dakota im not sure. The way it could be bad is if the puppies liveing conditions were poor because of the mass numbers or If there are sold ther are sold to someone who wont take care of them. I dont think it should be illegal as long as it is govern by the state to make sure the puppies get to good owners and have good living conditions. Some animal actives might want to make it illegal and might think my idea of the puppy mill is wrong. But i do like puppys and i want people to have puppys so as long as it is looked on it is ok.

They are making to large amounts of them and will have too many puppies for those facilities and it will not be good for them. There should be a law against doing this, and if it is allowed, they should have to do it in smaller numbers at least.
