Hurricane Hysteria

There has been an increase in hurricanes in the past two years. Some say it is because of global warming and other say it is a cycle that our planet is going through. What do you believe is causing the increase in hurricanes?

Well i think that it could be a little bit of both because what if Global Warming is just another stage of the earth's cycle of the earth. I think that we should not worry about it too much because no one knows what global warming will do their are just guesstamating. on the subject right now.

I also think that it could be a little bit of both; but I believe that it is mostly Global Warming. There is scientific proof that what is going on has been caused by the warming of the Earth and it is understandable that pple would think that way. THE END

It's a little bit of global warming and the currents getting messesd up in the ocean. And I think it's a little bit of our earth's cycle that they say we are going through. Part of that cycle is more weather and slight warming.

I beleive its both. I think are planet runs like a calender and follows the same way every so many years. Global warming make it act sooner then when its suppose to happen. The global warming makes the current run wild so this make hurricanes happen. This is a sad deal and people should think first in global warming or they might just lose there home.

I think it is a little bit of both. The currents are different. It could be both things because the earth is going through different things.

I think it is just a cylce. It is just a phase that the earth is going through. I think it could be a little bit of global warming, but mostly just a phase.

I think that it is both. Global warming is affecting alot of activity that is going on in our world. Temperatures are higher, artic ice and glaciers are melting, and I guess that means more hurricanes too. Our world could also be going through a cycle that could cause this. I think that scientists have alot to learn about this situation.

I think that Global Warming has a thing to do with it. I think it might be all the pollution we are letting off in the atmosphere. There might be something else like a chemical that we are letting off in to the ocean. Maybe it is trash or something that we are letting off into the ocean.

I think that the earth is just going through a cycle right now. It seems like global warming isn't doing as much as it "should be doing". I mean, here in South Dakota, it is just as cold as always. Isn't global warming suppossed to raise temperatures?

I think things just happen at certain times. Global warming is just an idea and no one trully understands our global climate. I think the last two years have just been bad for no reasonable reason. It just happens occasionly.

I think that its global warming. Our planets been doing some weird things with the weather patterns. I think that is the cause of the hurricanes.

Well I definately think that the climate change could have something to do with the many earthquakes that have been occuring over the last few years. However, I know Earth does have its cycles that could be changing some how as well. So I am guessing it is a combination of climate change and the Earth's cycles.

It could be both. Global Warming messes with the atmosphere and could be causing changing cycles in the ocean. It could be Earth's cycle in some way, but probably mostly global warming.

I think it is both because global warming has been proven that it causes the Earth to change what is supposed to happen by changing the heats around bouncing around from hot to cold randomly. Also Earth's natural cycle is to restore balance and its only way is to cause disasters and take out whatever is causing the unbalance.

Well global warming is part of the earth's cycle. We are in the 4th cycle of the earth right now. So i say it is just the cycle of the earth. The whole global warming thing does have an impact on the amount of hurricanses but like with the Stock Market crash in 1929 it is just one factor. There are many others that contrbute to the amount of hurricanse that hit our coasts.
