How does this affect you? Do you think this is something that is going to be found in South Dakota anytime soon?

It can affect you in a lot of ways and you could also die and yea that wouldnt be good at all. I do not know becasue it could easily spread throughout the whole country anytime soon and so i dont know how long it would take to get or not to get to south dakota.

Well, i guess that it is bad that it was confirmed that there was a case of it found. It could spread and eventually get to South Dakota. I don't think it would be here anytime soon.

Well, it can affect you in a lot of ways. You could get this disease and that would not be good. Someone you know could also get it. I don't think it will be found in S.D. anytime soon. We just found the first case and it isn't spreading fast or anything. Plus we don't have alot of like bat's and bat caves around this area.

It affects me because well diseases spread really fast and if one person has it that means that they can give it to someone else and thensome...... so that means that it will just get passed around. and umm well there is a chance it could be in south dakota but who really knows.... i dont..

I'm not really worried about it coming to South Dakota because usually when something like that comes up they quarentine the person that has the disease to prevent it from spreading. Right now that does not affect me, it would be bad if something like that did hit South Dakota though.

This shouldnt affect me very much because it is very rare and you ohave to come in contact with bats in caves. I don't visit caves very often so I shouldnt really have to worry about it. Also, the disease is found in Africa which is nowhere near here and I don't plan on visiting Africa anytime soon either! so good deal!!

I think it is kind of wierd how we established a new illness in the country when we have so much illnesses already. I believe that if this case spreads more, that it probably will end up in South Dakota. It could affect people in a lot of ways because you could recieve the illness.

It affects me because if it is a virus it can spread pretty easily. I also think that it is pretty scary that a virus that has never been in the US is just showing up, what other virus' could come? I dont know if it is going to be in SD anytime soon. I dont think so, just because of the very low bat population in SD. But you never know how it could spread through people.

it could affect me because the disease can spread easily and fast. So i could very easily get the disease and be sick. No i dont think that it is going to be found in south dakota. because a virus like that rarely keeps spreading. And if they do find something in south dakota its not going to be anytime soon.

It affects us because someone from the town where it was first discovered could come to South Dakota and they could be infected and they might not know it and then we could all end up with these horrible disease and DIE!

It could affect you in many ways and if you get the disease you could die that certainly wouldn't be good. And it is bad that there has been a case found so that could not be good also. And it will probably spread into South Dakota but that could take a while so then we could get the disease and we don't need anymore diseases around here.

I'm pretty sure that it can affect anyone who would get in contact with it. I really don't think that it will be a problem in South Dakota. Our state really never seems to get any really big diseases.

I think that it is a disappointment that it has gotten to the US. But, i doubt that it will really have an affect on SD int he near future. Maybe if it starts to have an outbreak of it, it might affect us. But, SD is so isolated from contact from the rest of states.

It can affect us by coming to SD and getting all of us sick. It would probably take a while to get here. Virus can spread through everyone and that would be bad.

No it wont effect me. It wont spread to us. I dont think it really exists.

I really do not think that it will affect us in the least bit. It has just been found. I don not think that it will be in south dakota any time in my lifetime. I also think that it could be serious if you get it but thre has only been one case and how fast can that spread and the person who was first recorded with that case probably was not the first and more likely than not this has been going around longer than we thought so no it is not that big of a deal.
