To gang members were arrested after posting a video on YouTube taunting the Miami Dade Police Department.
Is this right that you should be able to be convicted of a federal crime for posting a video on YouTube?

I don't really know how to judge a video on youtube but i guess if it was bad enough you could get into some trouble because what if they were really planning on going to the police station and they might have should've been depending on the circumstances
i think that it could lead to aresst depending on what is being posted...and what is showing young users and even adults....and if it is appropraite for people to be watching but for just comedy and music videos i don't think that you should get arrested...
Yes because it could be saying something against what is right. Even though all people have rights, people shouldnt be able to do mean things. If it is really bad, someone should be arrested or get in trouble. If it is not bad enough, they could get in a certain amount of trouble.
I don't think it sould get anyone in trouble no matter what they posted. Youtube is a site for free speech and should not be criticize for what the say.
Yes. I don't think that you should be able to make fun of people on youtube videos. Especially not a Police Department!! I also think that on youtube they should have something that says you cannot make fun of people and I also think that youtube should be monotored before the videos are put on youtube.
I think that it is ok to be punished for doing that. I think that people should be punished for bad things that they do. Harassing in a certain way is illegal and you can be severly punished for that. People do have certian rights like they can say what they want and write what they want but there are limits. People need to know when they are going too far.

I think it could help lead to the conviction of a crime. However I do not think it cannot be concrete evidence or the only evidence in the case. Computer videos can be easily altered. I think it should just be used to lead to other clues by what is in the video unless the video can be proven unaltered and accurate.
I think that it is stupid to post a video like that anyway. They should be arrested for being so oblivious to the public. Everyone knows that millions of people watch youtube and it wouldn't be anything uncommon for someone to go tell on them.
Yes and no because well it is kind of their right to post what they want on youtube, but then again if they were making fun of the police then maybe they deserve to be arrested. That was pretty stupid of them. and they shouldnt make fun of people, that is just plain stupid.
If you put anything violent on youtube you should be put into jail or a big fine. Why would you put that on the internet for people to see anyways. People need to think before they put anything stupid and wrong like that. This is so easy for the police to find or someone to call you in for.
Yes, because that's like hurting someone! and, they put those humiliating videos online for the whole world to laugh at, anyone who does that is just dumb!
This can be a yes and no answer. It would depend on how serious the video is. If it deals with the law and law enforcement then maybe it shouldnt be shown but we would like to see its not like its hurting anyone its just for the interest in our lives. So really i think that no he should of not been arrested for it.
Yes you should be convicted because the whole word is open to watch that video. That is harassment and harassment is a horrible thing to do to another. They should be punished even more because they posted that video about the police and the police are part of the government and so that is just like harassing the government.
I think that it all depends on what it is..some people do things that people interpret as different it may just be a joke but some people may take it seriousally..youtube is a great thing but sometimes it gets a little out of hand..but i think that if you are saying things about other people you should be punished!
i think it is half right becasue you can be arrested but the punishment shouldn't be too big because of freedom of speech...when it gets out of hand, then that is unnecessary.
