It is true that cell phones ringing can pop kernals of popcorn. Thats our science fair project!!! It may be giving us brain tumors but they are not sure yet. I think it is giving off harmful radiation waves and they are damaging our growing brains. This is why texting is a good thing...

I mean, people tell you not to look in the microwave when its on, and then cell phones can pop popcorn too? Not good!!
Yes it is true because the cell phone gives off enough radation to give it enough heat to pop. So that is kind of bad for us becasue that radiation is going into our bodies and that can cause some problems. I think that we should not use our phones as much other wise we are going to have problems with our health.

i've heard of cellphones popping popcorn and i've seen it on youtube. but im not for sure if it really does happy or if they're just editing the video. its a weird thought of what cell phones are doing to us. other than distracting us from things and constantly texting =)

It is physically impossible. Cell phones do not give off enough radiaton. If they did the water underneath our skin would boil. On the same note some studies have linked cell phones to cancer.

I don't think it is true at all. I think is will just start to melt the plastic or something. It won't pop like popcorn.
