Too Far

What is too far on airport security? A person got searched this last week and was asked to remove a piercing in public but refused. How are we going to make are airports safe for travelers and still prevent tourists?

I don't think there really is a safe way anymore ever since the 9/11 attacks. Its a pretty sad deal how we have to have different people remove there stuff that is not even dangerous. I never got in a plane before. So I don't what it feels like.

I think that when you have to strip down to nothing that is a little far. I think if you would just empty your pockets of anything metal, you would get through security faster. It is going a little too far when they check every detail about your luggage just to get through security.

I think that is too far. People should have the right to not have to take piercings out, I mean really, what is it going to do, kill someone. Probably not. I think they should just go through exray machine thingys to see if they have any weapons and same with their luggage. Thats about it.

I think that they went to far on that. It was just a piercing. It wasn't like it was a weapon of any kind. I know they are trying to protect us, but they shouldn't go that extreme.

I think that a piercing was probably too much. There is a lot of things that should be done so another 9/11 doesn't occur, but soemtimes it is too much. I guess taking out a piercing isn't that bad; you can just put it right back in.

I think that a piercing is too far. Just check them and go through the stuff, but taking things off is a little too much. That is against people's space and privacy.

I think, for airport security, everyone should just walk around naked. That way there is no concealed weapons. Everything is out in the open....ha!

Its really hard for people to be safe at airports. The airport is just doing their job but sometimes it does go a little too far. Nobody should have to violate themselves in order to get past security.

I think too far is going behond precautions and make people take off personal belongins or peircings. Its not like a person is gunna take a pericing and kill someone. Just check everyhting the people have and take anything illegal away from them.

I think they doing a alot to prevent unsafe travel. However it is just cause more hassles for the everyday travlers. I am sure they have stopped some amateur terrorists. However the real terrorists will find a way to get a bomb on a plane. Nothing is 100 percent terrorist-proof.

I think they still need to be very careful on security, but not that far. They are just trying to keep everyone safe and that is reassuring. That might be alittle too far but whatever they need to do to keep everyone safe is fine by me.

i think that aiports are getting crazier everyday and they need to be more strict. i don't think it was okay to make her take off her body jewelry in public, but taken her to a private room, but yes, security needs to be better.

It is too far when they ask people to do stuff like remove a piercing or when they randomly screen aribic looking people then that can be very racist. But we really cant change anything about it because we have to keep airports safe.
