Yes, I think that it should be a national holiday because it honors a country and where people come from. We have Irish people in our community and this should be a day that they can celebrate and honor their homeland. We should also get out of school!
I don't think it should be a national holiday for us because it would just be another day to make up at the end up the year. Not many do much to celebrate it anyways. So I think we shold just wear our green to school and call it good.
