Spring
Well spring is finally here and snow is on the ground again. What is the reason that we seem to get snow almost every year around the beginning of spring?
I don't know exactly. but i think that it is because it is still really cold outside and it really wants to rain. but it just freezes and then it turns into snow instead of rain. then it just dries up the next day
I think that it is because it is still kind of cold outside. Also, we are pretty far north so we are more likely to get snow. If its cold enough and it rains it will freeze and that makes snow.
I think it is because even though it is considered the spring equinox, it is transfering from the winter solstice to the spring equinox so the sun is slowly moving to its position above the equator. But since it is slowly moving the weather is not changing. I think that the beginning of a solstice or equinox is when the sun starts to move to the correct position.
You can never predict the weather here with the different patterns. The clouds must have a lot of moisture in them and have to release it as it gets too heavy. It depends on the temperature as to what kind of moisture falls. If it cold enough it will come as snow, otherwise it will rain. It must just have to do with the time of year and weather patterns.
There are a whole bunch of reasons. It's warmer in spring, about forty degrees, but the upper atmosphere is still really cold, meaning that the moisture in the clouds is still very frozen. It usually rains in the spring, but because the atmospheric temperature is low, snow falls in big clumps as it nears the warmer surface.
I feel that we get this snow at the spring of the year is because of the high temperatures we have. The other states get rain and when that rain comes to the higher states to Cananda it turns to snow. Cananda still has that called air and snow so it hits the cold air and it makes everything change to snow. Also, God loves farmers and they need the moisture.
I have three therorys first we never have goten the first day of spring right. #2 naturer just loves to prove us wrong. #3 god is trying to clean us of our sins.
The weather patterns change so frequently here. So you can never determine what our year of weather is going to be like year round. If it's cold enough for it to snow then it probably will since that is what the weather is like.
It's getting warmer during the spring time but up in the clouds and atmosphere it is still cold and the heat starts to melt the snow and the extra water pushes the snow down to earth by gravity.
We live farther up north so we can just expect this to happen. The Midwest is known for its extreme weather changes due to our locations relavent to the Rocky Mountains and the Gulf of Mexico. We also sit right around the jetstream so depending if we are north or south of the jetstream, our weather will be cold and hot.
It could be that not only because we are at spring, the temperature can still get very low. Therefore it causes snow. There was also a lot of low pressure coming into the area.
ITs South Dakota. They elements are crazy here. THat's the reason no one wants to live here. People who are born here are just a higher breed and the rest of the world can't touch.

The reason that happens is that there is still moisture in the clouds and when they fall they are frozen but since it is warmer near the earth it turns into a wet snow. That and its just South Dakota are weather is always changing.
We can't control the weather, and it is unpredictable. We are still close to winter, and it is still cold out. Cold air holds more moisture, until it can't hold it all. Then it rains or snows, depending on the temperature. It if is lower than 32 degrees F, it will snow. So, on the first day of spring it depends if it is cold or hot.
I think it is because at the beginning of spring it is still somewhat cold outside. The seasons are also going through change and so it will take a couple weeks for it to finally change completely. I just want it not to snow anymore because I don't like winter.

I dont actually know. I dont really like snow. I wish that it would just get warm out. If its still cold enough, and it starts to rain, it could snow.

It is just the pattern of the weather. Every year it snows around Spring becuase it is still cold and the rain is still frozen.
Thats just the way the world turns, Hix. THE END
