Politics

Politics in the U.S are all over the news. Should these people be allowed to make mistakes or should we hold everything against them? What is your opinion?

I think they are just like you and me, maybe a little smarter. They should not be making bad mistakes that can be a bad influence to the people of the US. So I don't think we need to hold everything against them.

They shouldn't be allowed to make mistakes because it can be a bad influence on us. We are human and granted they will make some mistakes. They should have a lot of people to look through it before telling us to minimize this error.

I think everyone is going to make mistakes and needs to be allowed to make a few. Politicians just have to be careful and held accountable for their actions. When we mess up we have to pay for it and I think the same should be for them. However, people are going to mess up so some mistakes may be made.

I think that we should see the mistakes that they make. America is a democracy so we need to have something to judge our leaders on. But I think the media can change how things look and make people think that certain mistakes are worse than others. I think we should try to focus on the truest stories that we here.

Everybody is allowed to make mistakes. It depends on the mistake. If it's a huge mistake then it should be fixed but don't hold it against them. That is the reason why all the wars in the world have begun.

Everyone makes mistakes, its just human nature. They are regular people just like you and me. So even though they mess up once in a while its not like they do it on purpose because they want to be a good influence on us.

I think people should make fun of them because everyone makes mistakes. Like Tiger Woods he was on a streak of six straight PGA championships and he lost yesturday. He had little mistakes and he lost. I feel everyone makes mistakes, but in politics it might show us and have a bad influence on us. I feel they shouldn't make that many mistakes.

I think they should be able to handle the pressure of being in a public office. They are representing their township, city, state, or nation. They should be held accountable for their actions like every other American if not alittle more harshly.

No. I honestly believe that it is human nature to do something dumb, and we cannot degrade them. People in the U.S. cheat all the time but when some political figure does it, people go ape-crap. Now, if you are a political figure or a movie star or anyone famous, you should watch what you do because people are watching your every move. However, if they do slip up, give them a break.

People should be able to make mistakes. Humans are Humans and everyone makes mistakes. We shouldn't hold anything against them except if they really did harm to another person or become a band influence. But otherwise they are just stating their opinions on the politics.

I think that politicans will make mistakes because they are just like normal people. They should have to pay for their mistakes. But, people should keep in mind that they are just like normal people and they will have their share of mistakes.

Screw em, they got ellected by being "good people" and then are ridiculed because we find out later that they are bad people. I don't care so much that Bill Clinton got his penis pleasured by an intern because he didn't pay her. It's not illegal to get oral sex. The governor of New York however, payed a hooker for sex, that's a little different because prostitution is illegal. If you are breaking a law and are supposed to be in a position of responsibility, then it should be held against you, but if you are unlucky like Bill Clinton and get caught but really didn't break any laws in the process more power to you. Can you really blame Bill though? He's had to put up with Hillary...Not my first choice as far as love making goes...

Politicians are humans to. They can make mistakes but there shouldn't be many. Poeple judge you by how many errors you have so if they want to win, they should be as close to perfect as possilbe.

They should be allowed to makes mistakes. However, they should be treated the same as everyone else. They should be punished for their actions. They should want to not make mistakes and be a good example for the people.

I Think that they should be treated just the way we are treated just because they have the money doesnt mean they should be able to get out of things easier. But if they do something that we would have done then they should be punished just the same. So yah i think that the people in the politics should be punished the same as we would.

Yes, i think it is okay for them to make mistakes every once in a while no matter how big or small, but i don't think they shouldn't get the blame for their actions just because of who they are. They should take responisiblity for what they do...and be okay with that.

They are just like you and me but it just seems way worse when they make a mistake because it will get televised. I think they can make mistakes but they really shouldnt because if we elect them and they make a "mistake" it could cost the nation a bunch of money.

I think that they should not be allowed to make a lot of mistakes. If they make a mistake, who knows what it could do to our nation. They are only human though and nobody is perfect, but if they make a mistake it could end up being a disaster. The government should work as hard as they can to limit the mistakes made and the damages done from people making mistakes.

I think that they are regular people that make mistakes just like we do. But, they are in a serious situation so they need to be careful about their actions and not do dumb things. They need to make sure that things that they do arent going to make them look bad.

Nobody is perfect. It is only normal to make mistakes. But since theyre in politics, they need to be careful what they do. People are looking for someone who can lead them. That means they should be better. We should give them a break. But yes, sometimes you do hold it against them in order to choose the right person.
