I think that we have different seasons like that 4 months apart because that is usually when the seasons all change and i think that since there are like 4 hemispheres there are four seasons.
Ok well i agree with Mitchell because the weather changes. But the real reason is that it is because there is different equinoxes. The sun is on the equator. It is like fall too.
Spring is an equinox. That is the time between the solstices. It is between the extreme seasons of summer and winter. During an equinox the sun is positioned directly over the earth's equator. Equinoxes are shorter than solstices.
The first day of spring is marked by the vernal equinox. In an equinox day is longer than night. During the spring equinox, the sun is at an average height in the sky, compared to the summer solstice when it is at its highest point and the winter solstice when it is at its lowest point.
YAY!! TODAY IS THE FIRST DAY OF SPRING!!! YIPPE!!!! haha!! The weather will now change and it will get alot nicer outside. The reason for this is becuase of an equinox. The same thing will happen in the fall.
Spring is determined by the temperature of the weather outside i think. The temperature changes though because the Earth spins on its axis and tilts and stuff and that causes weather changes. When the weather has a dramatic change that is sort of a signal that the seasons are changing and the Earth is tilting on its axis even more.
The first day of spring is determined by dates. It is like equinoxes and solstices and things like that. and the weather does have somehthing to do with it.
The Vernal Equinox is Thursday, March 20, 2008 in the northern hemisphere this year. It is Friday, March 20, 2009 next year. The Vernal Equinox is the date when night and day are nearly the same length, and the Sun crosses the equator moving northward. It is considered to be the first day of spring.
Spring is the season between winter and summer comprising in the northern hemisphere usually the months of March, April, and May or as reckoned astronomically extending from the March equinox to the June solstice. THE END
Today is the vernal equinox, so the day is as long as the night is. There are four different seasons and changes in the sun, earth, and moon and this equinox marks the beginning of spring.
It is just determined by how the weather changes. When it gets nicer I think that is when they determine when it is officially spring. It is kind of the same with winter.
It is because it is the vernal equinox. This is when the sun is directly above the equator. Therefore the days is 12 hours of light and 12 hours of darkness. From now on in the northern hemisphere the days will become longer and shorter in the southern hemisphere.
Today I saw two robbins outside flying around. Weather people study the weather of the past and the creatures and how the adapt to the climate. Then they make the right choose on the month and day of spring.
I think it is determined by their being 12 hours of night time and 12 hours of day time. That is what I think. It is not the same way when it becomes fall.
It is spring because the axis of the earth isn't tilted towards or away from the sun. Thats why it is a mild temperature. While the axis rotates, the earth revolves around the sun. Like, in summer the axis is towards the sun. It is also the vernal equinox. Today at 1:48 am the sun crossed directly over the equator. Its kind of funny that it is snowing on the first day of spring.

Spring is a equinox. The weather always changes. The sun is on the equator and that causes this westher change.

it is determined by the vernal equinox. That means that today the day and night are the same leangth.

Today is the vernal equinox. This means that the night is as long as the night is. The equinox determines the 1st day of spring. There are 4 seasons.

The wheather changes so we can't count them all as one. The sun rotates so we are in different whether stages. The sun rotates around the equator
I think that the change is when we enter the solstices and the equinoxes. Those are the turning points. ANd the weather is nicer too.
